Recruiting participants for Change in Smell study

  • 1 min read

Your ability to smell plays a key role in your health. The University of Victoria (UVic) Smell Study in British Columbia, Canada, is investigating smell loss to see if social functioning underlies the link between olfactory impairments and reduced mental health.

The team of researchers is led by Dr. Marlise Hofer and Dr. Brianna Turner at the University of Victoria.

This study spans 8 sessions and is delivered entirely from the comfort of your own home. At the end of the study, a smell report is shared with each participant, showing them how their sense of smell has changed over the study. Participants are also offered an honorarium.
